A person must be at least 62 years old to be eligible for residence at
Hollander House.
The completion and return of the
initial written application is the first step. Before a person is accepted
for the wait list, the applicant must appear at an interview that is
convenient to the management and the applicant. An applicant must meet all
selection criteria before being accepted for residence.
HUD requires that all applicants
and those on the wait list be subject to credit and a criminal background
check. Before an offer of an apartment is made, there must be third-party
verification of applicant’s information.
Once accepted, the applicant is placed on a wait
list, and contacted when an apartment is available.
